There are certain things that are considered gold here in Gulu. One of them is taco seasoning. You CAN'T get it here. People have it sent over in every care package they get.
So what do you do when you run out of taco seasoning?
Especially if the meat is already frying in the pan?
You try to make it yourself, of course!
Find a recipe online.
Realize it needs onion powder.
Call a friend to see if she has onion powder.
She asks what you're making.
When she hears you need taco seasoning she offers to give you some of hers because she has extra.
WOW!
Now that's a friend.
What a blessing!
