Blessings 365: Day 193: Blessings during the storm

At the beginning of July, I sort of, kind of mysteriously explained my lack of blog posts (at the time I was a mere 2 weeks behind); writing about a storm that was approaching on my horizon.  If you missed it you can read it here.  I wasn't intentionally being mysterious...it's just hard to write about difficult times when you're walking through them.

The storm I was walking through was the fact that my daughter was getting married and I had to miss it.  She was in Oklahoma City and I was in Uganda.

My beautiful daughter and her friend Chris
But, praise the Lord, He walked us through the storm.

He always does.

I knew He would.

I felt Him there the whole time.

His grace and never-ending love pours out all over my life.

It's like a hour glass (or a funnel!)...His grace pours into my life and then pours out of me onto others.

Be sure to read my post about how God completely changed my perspective on my daughter's wedding and the fact that I had to miss it.  You can find it right here.
