Blessings 365: Day 197: Garrett giving his heart to Jesus

July 15th was a very special day!!  We have been reading The Moody Family book series at night.  In each book, the Moodys lead someone to Christ (through it they model how to witness and lead others to Jesus).  

As we were reading about the Moodys witnessing to a neighbor, Garrett told me that on the swing earlier he had prayed to God that he wouldn't go to hell.  Then we read that the Moodys were explaining to their friend that if she had committed even one sin she deserved eternal separation from Jesus.  Garrett stopped me and asked if he had committed one sin.

I stopped reading and took Garrett into our room so Scott and I could talk to him.  We were able to answer his questions, ask some of our own (to make sure he understood), and be with our sweet boy when he gave his heart to Jesus.

What a wonderful day!

The angels in heaven rejoiced with us!!
