Blessings 365: Day 150: Electricity for 24 hours in a row

I realize that in America you probably have electricity for 24 hours in a row all the time, right??  No big deal, right?

Well, here in Gulu it's a different story.  This is my blessing from Tuesday.  From Thursday until Monday we had power for 30 minutes each day.  We are very blessed to have a generator to charge computers and have lights for a little bit each night, but we can't do laundry or run the fridge for very long.  So it's been a "fun" few days!  It is funny though that now when the power goes off it hardly affects us.  Much different than when we first moved to Uganda!

From Monday night until Wednesday morning at 7 we had power!  I got 6 loads of laundry done! Everything was charged!  Fridge was cold!  And then power outages have started up again!  Oh well.....it was fun while it lasted!  :)

It could be worse, our friends on the other side of town had a transformer blow and it could be WEEKS before they get it fixed!!
Why I count...
