Last week we decided to have a mom's night out to celebrate our friend Denise's birthday! The plan was to have a movie night and give manicures and pedicures.
We got to our friend's house and were standing around chatting about brownies and coffee when the power went out. bummer! So the plans changed and we decided to scrap the movie and instead lit candles, brought out the mani and pedi supplies and spent the evening chatting.
I am a "words" person. I much prefer sitting and talking to watching a movie....so the evening was a complete blessing to me!! I loved laughing and chatting and getting to know my friends here in Gulu a little better!
