Annie was struggling with a math concept. We had out the Math-U-See blocks. We worked the problems together. We talked about it. But still....I had to walk her through each step. She just didn't get it.
We just kept working at it. Working through each page together. And she started to "get it!" Instead of me having to explain each step, she started to do some of the problem alone. Then she asked me to leave the room so she could surprise me. I came back in to a totally finished math page with every problem correct....and a grinning little girl who was so proud of herself!!
YAY!!
