Blessings 365: Day 136: Bug zappers

Ever since we lived in Kampala I've wanted one of these bug zappers.  But in Kampala the street vendors try to sell them for 40,000 shillings each (around $20). ridiculously overpriced....so we never got one.

Then we moved to Gulu.  And it's rainy season.  And there are tons of mosquitoes everywhere.  And we HAVE to have a bug zapper.  In fact, we have two of them! (plus, we were able to get them up here for 15,000 shillings each...about $7...woo hoo!)

Not only are they very useful for killing mosquitoes (yes, they really work!)....they are a lot of fun, in a sick sort of way.  If you hate mosquitoes buzzing around your head and biting you all the time....it's a GREAT feeling to watch them die in the bug zapper!  lol
