Last weekend, in particular, our generator was such a blessing! Normally when the power is out, we run the generator about 5 hours a day. But last Saturday when Scott, Laura, and Annie were sick...with high high fevers...and the power was out for at least 24 hours....things were a little different. We ran the generator 4 hours, let it cool for an hour, ran it for 4 hours, etc. etc. etc. until the power came back on!! We just HAD to have the fans to cool off those poor sick people in the 110° heat.
***a sickness update*** Nate got sick last night, Melissa in the middle of the night, and Garrett this afternoon. The only family member who has not been sick: Benji. I guess only time will tell.....
