Sunday we were overwhelmed with Christian fellowship....and it was a GOOD thing! First of all, we went to church to worship with our Acholi brothers and sisters in Christ (that's a blog post fora later date). What a blessing to be forming friendships with people here in Gulu...to recognize them at church, to talk during the week!
After church we went to lunch with the Forester family. We had fun talking and hanging out....and Kent even taught us a new card game! LOTS of fun!!
We had plans that evening with a family who moved to Gulu about a month age (they also have 6 children living here with them). So we came home and rested for about and hour and headed down to their house for a fun evening of fellowship and yummy food!
After a year of lots of lonely times...it's nice to be so busy hanging out with friends (both Acholi and American) that you look forward to just one day at home to be "bored!"
