Let me tell you...it gets DARK at night. We have a generator that we run for a few hours while we're getting ready for bed...we charge our computers and have fans for a little bit (until the evening cools off). But when we turn the generator off our house WOULD be SO dark....if it weren't for USAID.
The people who run USAID live right behind us. They have 2 generators that are each bigger than our car!! They turn them on AS SOON as power goes out AND they stay on the WHOLE time power is out! So when we turn our generator off we still have "nightlights" in the kids' bedrooms....because their back lights never go off!! So very nice to not be in complete darkness!
