Nancy Arnold, another sweet lady from our church, sent us a bunch of cross stitch kits. Aida cloth, needles, embroidery floss, patterns....we are SET!!
I grew up cross stitching. My Aunt Sarah taught us how when we were little girls. I'm not really "crafty" in the creative way....but I can cross stitch. And guess what??
I taught my girls how to cross stitch!!
This is monumental!! I don't think I've ever taught my girls anything creative! They've either come by it naturally, learned it in co-op, been taught by my aunt (yep, Aunt Sarah taught them to crochet), or they learned on youtube! But I, their mother, taught them to cross stitch!!
And they are really good!
They caught on very quickly!
And they love it!!
