We got a care package!!
Our wonderful church family sent us a package FULL of goodies! Letters, cards, pictures, yarn, magazines, bubble gum, gummy worms, model cars, silly bands, coloring books, and much much more! We are truly blessed to have a church that loves us, supports us, encourages us, prays for us, and sends us wonderful packages!
I was talking with a couple of missionary friends here about our care package and we agree on a little known fact: almost nothing makes a missionary family feel more loved than a care package. seriously. We know the thought (what to buy), love ("oh, they would LOVE that!"), buying (lots of fun goodies), packing (and mailing!) of the box....all the work and love that goes into a care package... And knowing all that is involved in getting a care package over here, just makes us feel LOVED!! and BLESSED!! thank you!!
Today's blessing is a very specific part of our care package. New crayons! There is NOTHING like new crayons, is there? The delightful smell, the sharp points, the beautiful colors arranged in the box. ahhh.... So I used my pic collage to make a "work of art" illustrating what a blessing the new crayons are to my kiddos. I bet you can tell which side is "before" and which side is "after!"
Thank you, again, to everyone at Redeemer Community Church in Little Rock....and specifically the Davidson family (for all the loving, gathering, packing and mailing!)....for making us feel so loved and taken care of! We love you all!!
