Blessings 365: Day 247: The BEST chocolate cake EVER

Melissa made the best chocolate cake ever.  Seriously.  No, I did not take pictures!!  That would be the completely logical thing to do when one knows they are going to post about a food item....but I didn't. 

Here's the photo from The Food Network's website.  Our cake wasn't nearly this pretty....but it sure was delicious!!

Wanna know the recipe?  Check out The Pioneer Woman on Food Network (you knew it had to be her recipe, didn't ya??).  It makes 2 cakes, so we halved the recipe.  The one thing we did differently is we used 1 cup of coke (yep, coca cola) and 1 cup of water (instead of 2 c. of boiling water)....we just boiled that.
