Our second full week in Uganda was teacher work week at school. Melissa and I went up in the mornings and stayed until lunchtime. Well, the first day I went alone. But then the teachers needed someone to draw....so we sent for Melissa (grin!)
Together Melissa, Courtney, and I helped the teachers make all the posters that went in their room. Make the posters? Yes, make them. There's no Mardel here in Kampala so the teachers hand make all the posters in their room, name tags for the kids desks, folders to store the kids work in, etc. Everything is made with large sheets of paper that are like construction paper, markers and crayons. These teachers are amazing!
It was really a fun week getting to know the teachers a little, laughing together, and sharing ideas. Here are some pictures of us working and a couple of the posters we made:
Teacher Betty (in pink), Melissa, Courtney, and Teacher Sylvia hard at work!
Melissa and Teacher Zaitun (pronounced Zi tune) working on posters.

Great art work. Thx for the pics. Way to go Melissa! Praying for all your family's health (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) and your love for Ugandans to grow and grow and grow--loving Jesus all through your days
