So last weekend was Renown 2010. To say it was amazing is an understatement! The worship was out of this world! So powerful! We loved hearing Keith Wheeler on Friday night. We were all amazed to hear about his adventures as he's carried a 12 foot cross around the world. I was inspired by hearing his passion for Jesus. He talked about how he can't help but talk about Jesus, that every conversation eventually turns to Jesus. I want to be so in love that I can't help but talk about Him! On Saturday we got to have a very personal and casual time during Q & A with Keith. There were about 12 people there to listen to more details about his life and his calling to carry the cross. It was great to get to know him better.
After hearing Keith on Saturday afternoon we went to hear Enid Valentine talk about modern day slavery in the form of human trafficking. I never realized how much this is happening all over the world, including America. Did you know we are the #3 destination country? That means that when women and children are kidnapped as slaves, USA is one of the places they are sent! Atlanta is the #1 city and Dallas is #3 or 4. Then Saturday night we got to hear Heather Mercer speak. We heard her speak at Redeemer a few months ago and it was GREAT!! During that talk God put Iraq on Melissa's heart. HE has created a love for the people of Iraq in her heart. At Renown Heather was able to spend some time talking with Melissa and Melissa was able to hear her speak at her Q & A time, at a talk about Islam, and during her evening talk. It was a great burst of encouragement to her.

Just to let yall know: Your posts make me cry every time i read them. Not cause i don't want you guys moving to Africa. But cause it makes it seem like its coming so much faster! I want yall to go to Africa cause that is God's will for yall, and it's yalls desire. You guys truly are the Suubi Family. But because it seems like there's little time left, and there's not a way for me to take advantage of the time yall have left in America because yall are still in Arkansas and i'm still in Texas.

I saw that you were one of her friends on FB. We're going to Hope with her on Feb 20 to hear her speak at a mission's conference. It'll be great to get to know her better!
