Annie's friends

Annie is our social butterfly! She makes friends where ever she goes. In fact, we once went to a playground and there were lots of other children there. Inwardly we thought, "Great...other kids." Annie exclaimed, "Yes! New friends!"

The other day Annie and I were chatting and she started talking about her friends. She began listing them: Saylor and Sydney (her friends from church in Little Rock); Ashley, Abigail, and Jewel (her friends at HGM); and the Burmese girls. Yep, you read that right....the Burmese girls.

Sweet little Annie...she doesn't know all their names, they don't even speak the same language...but she considers the Burmese girls her friends.

Jesus has given Annie a heart for the world...beginning right here at Westview. She sees beyond skin color, age, and even language barriers and looks for friendship.

Would you like to see one of Annie's Burmese friends? We've recently learned that her name is Ngun (we call her Nu Nu). We love this sweet girl! In fact, she spent most of Thanksgiving in our apartment (it was TOO COLD to be outside!)
