Today I read The Journey and was really encouraged!!! As we think about going to Uganda with our children, quite often Satan sneaks in with his attacks. You know, "What if you can't get the medicine Annie needs?" or "What about protecting your children?" Sometimes I catch those thoughts and rebuke them. But often I dwell on them a little bit (or a lotta bit!).
Suzanne's blog is focusing right now on their journey to adopt a special needs child from Uganda....Josie Love. It's a precious story! Most of the time Suzanne is very optomistic and positive - but sometimes she struggles with negative thoughts just like all of us do! Today Suzanne told about a friend who reminded her that "OBEDIENCE ALWAYS TRUMPS WORST CASE SCENARIO!" Thanks, Suzanne, for being willing to be real and for the encouragement to remain obedient to God!!
